Chris Chappell, Group Chief Executive

Before founding Plancast Pty & Plancast Limited, Chris was the head of the Planning at a large US telecommunications solutions company.  Prior to that, he was the Project Manager for a number of large European Companies in planning of Cable TV systems and high speed broadband across Europe before becoming the MD of a telecommunications SME in 2001.  

He has many years of experience in all forms of telecommunications, computer-aided design and railway signalling design.  Holding diplomas in Business Studies, Business Administration and Project Management and IOSH Managing Safely.

Heinz Herrmann, Managing Director

Heinz has extensive experience in senior management within the telecommunications industry throughout the world and in the Asia Pacific region in particular.  His roles have ranged from General Manager at both Siemens (APAC) and SingTel, State Manager of NextGen Networks to CEO of both Ice TV and Magna Systems in Australia.  

He has a great track record of building, developing and growing businesses of all sizes.  Heinz is responsible for all activities within Australia, including business development and operations at Plancast Australia.

Charlotte Chappell, Director of HR and Administration

Before becoming a director of Plancast, Charlotte worked as the HR Manager of a leading office storage solutions manufacturer where she became heavily involved in the affairs of the company. She later joined a world leading logistic company working in HR and marketing.   

Charlotte has gained invaluable experience in business and marketing and continues to be involved in the marketing, finance and administration industries.  She currently holds AHRI (Aus) and CIPD (UK) memberships and is working towards her Masters Degree.

Peter Smith, Director of Global Strategy

Peter joined Plancast in June 2013 and brings with him extensive experience in the telecommunications sector including Sales Director Huawei Telecommunications, Sales & Marketing Director Fujitsu Telecommunications UK & Ireland and  Head of Group of Software Engineering BT.

He is an experienced successful business executive, creating and maintaining key relationships leading to securing new business and conversion to sales, securing over $1.5Bn over 6 years.
